Star Racer is a Korean flash game, quite simple, yet very fun to play.
The keyboard controls are standard – Up key to accelerate, Down to Brake, right and left to move the spaceship to the sides.
You can control three different types of race ships, model 2527, 1007 or 3173, each comes with different graphics.
After selecting the vehicle, you will choose between four stars to race on, the tracks are completely different by terms of difficulty and scenery
While racing, be careful of two main things that can slow down the ship -
first, bumping into another ship will significantly slow you down, you can see the ship's speed on the bottom left.
Second, slipping from the track to the road shoulders, this might just slow down the vehicle, or worse, deliver an electric shock that will stun it for a while.
On the top there is a countdown, if the starship won't reach the next checkpoint by this time, the game will be over, once it will reach the checkpoint, the countdown will reset and start again.
Note that it is possible to slide toward the checkpoint even if the time is over, so you can be one or two seconds late and still make it, don't lose hope!
